TWINS ARTMa, Naho and Maho, are a Japanese twin sister art unit. Maho, a Chroma Vision Artist with synesthesia, sees colors in sounds and people, transforming the energy behind things into vibrant paintings. TWINS ARTMa’s works blend Maho’s art and colors with Naho’s words and messages.
Their journey began after Japan’s 2011 “3.11” earthquake. Stirred by an inner question—“Where do we come from, and where are we going?”—they set off with a single backpack to explore the world. A near-death experience and encounters with sages during sacred pilgrimages transformed them. They realized the world is an illusion, woven by a universal flow where all are one. This truth awakened their souls, igniting a mission to express it through art.
Traveling through America, South America Peru, India, UK…, and beyond, they chronicled their insights, sparking widespread resonance. Their book EARTH GYPSY became a Japanese bestseller, followed by four others, inspiring self-transformation and social change through art projects. TWINS ARTMa’s creations, radiant with universal wisdom, invite viewers to ponder their own existence and purpose.
